Zimbabwe

Mainly above 2,000 feet, hence it has a warm and dry climate. It was formerly part of the British colony of Rhodesia and became independent in 1980. It grows cash crops (tobacco, cotton, sugar cane, tea, coffee) and is beginning to develop a strong manufacturing sector.

Population: 12 million. Languages: English, Shona, Ndebele. Main religions: traditional, Christian.

Ecclesias 23. Banket, Bindura, Bulawayo, Chegutu, Chinhoyi, Chipinge District (including Chipinge, Mutema,Rimbi, Tongogara Camp), Chisape, Chishumba, Guruve, Harare, Kamativi, Kariba, Kwekwe, Masvingo Rural, Masvingo Town, Mutare, Shurugwi, Triangle, Zumba, Zvishavane (about 380 members in total).
